Bogdan is experienced in both working with vendors and the detailed tech process, as well as in coordinating tech teams.

Contributor to the Tock operating system and experience with building secure connected systems. She also built her Ph.D. thesis around secure technologies, with a focus on Tock. Together with Alex, Ioana published the first book on Tock OS kernel & application development. Ioana has built industrial applications using embedded technologies and Rust (e.g. automated assembly line, remote control system for embedded device); built automotive applications using C/C++ and Android Automotive.

Experienced in setting up and managing sustainable and scalable enterprises, with a track record in research, development and innovation; Major initiatives turned into success stories include Romania’s largest university-centered pre-accelerator for IT start-ups, Innovation Labs, as well as one of the first modern engineering research laboratories in a public institution, with private funding and management, CISL41 - built prior to 2022.
Alex has over 8 years of experience in software development and has contributed to several open-source projects besides Tock. During the last four years, Alex has been working in the automotive industry, delivering embedded and Android Automotive solutions.
Over 10 years of experience in automotive development, managing specifications, and software development. Very skilled in bootloader development and low-level debugging and drivers, including security, signature generation, etc. Worked through several ASPICE certification processes and software homologation of different products. He also knows all the steps in the automotive development process, which makes him an excellent expert in the certification process.
